On September 30, 2020, Simplay Labs announced that PYS had won the HDMI 2.1 certification test in the world, all the tests were disposable pass, and PYS was awarded the 30AWG& 2.5m HDMI 2.1 certificate.
The standard of HDMI 2.1 was released in November 2017, which introduces a kind of ultra high-speed cable: with 48Gbps transfer speeding in order to support full function of HDMI 2.1, which includes uncompressed 8K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz and technology of dynamic HDR.UHS HDMI2.0 cable needs to qualified with the requirements of EMI and to minimize the interference of wireless signals, except of strict signal integrity testing.
The different lengths of HDMI 2.1 cable are required to be certified at an authorized HDMI ATC center. The cable which is certified by HDMI, the package will display an Ultra-high speed HDMI certification label to inform the certification status to consumers. Except the official logo on the label, it also must be display "UltraHigh speed HDMI@Cable" on the jacket of cable. Due to the harsh test standards requirements, there are only a few manufacturers who can pass the test.
